Redesigned Dining at Restaurants with Igloos and Bungalows

Experience private, outdoor dining in one of the many igloo options on Long Island. Restaurants and hotels have converted their outdoor space to allow for a socially distanced dining experience. Check out our round-up of top spots across the region for a seasonal dining experience in an igloo. Many offer special menus, themed cocktails, and uniquely decorated spaces.


Nassau County

Smuggler Jack’s

Located in Massapequa, Smuggler Jack’s serves up casual waterside dining with an outdoor heated patio, fireside dining indoor and five igloos on the patio. The dining package includes the private igloo for two hours with a dedicated server & a round of premium drinks.

The Buoy Bar

Located in Point Lookout, the decorated waterfront restaurant has streamed lights lining their outdoor igloo dining and serves up fresh seafood.

Coach Meeting House

Located in Oyster Bay, Coach Meeting House is a must-experience. The outside area has been transformed into a winter village complete with individual igloos, Adirondack chairs, private fireplace access, coach, speaker, and television. Head to Coach Meeting House for dinner or bottomless brunch.


Suffolk County

Harbor Mist

Located in Cold Spring Harbor, Harbor Mist serves up seafood-focused New American cuisine. The two-story restaurant offers scenic waterfront views.


Located in Islip, the American bar and grill known for its carousel-horse décor offers holiday themed igloos with cozy couches and fireplace.

Mirabelle Tavern

Located at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook, Executive Chef Guy Reuge’s specialty is fresh-meets-French cuisine. Chef Guy’s unique farm-to-table tasting prix fixe is served alongside Mirabelle Tavern’s menu of French bistro classics. Dine in their igloo for up to 6 people.


Downtown Dining

The Linwood

Located in Bayshore, The Linwood offers craft cocktails and beer along with an assortment of local wines. The igloos are decorated with stringed lights and the seasonal menu offers flavorful items.

ITA Kitchen

Located in Bayshore, experience dining under the stars. The outdoor igloos and greenhouses are available are perfect for private dining serving up Italian American cuisine.
