Signature Sporting Events on Long Island

Long Island has played host to a number of acclaimed sporting events including the 101st PGA Championship and the annual Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. The US Open has come to Long Island in 2004, 2009, 2018 and will return to the region in 2026.
