A fireworks extravaganza to rival Macy’s is back for 2022, above the shores of the iconic Jones Beach, synced to patriotic tunes for a unique audio-visual experience. The Jones Beach Fireworks Show begins promptly at 9:30pm and July 4th revelers are advised to arrive early to secure prime firework-viewing real estate. You can also watch the show by boat aboard Captree's Fleet of Charter Boats, departing from Bay Shore.

Every year, the Westhampton Country puts on one of the best fireworks shows in the Hamptons, and this year is no different. Although it’s a private event, the whole Westhampton community, and visitors from around the world, get to enjoy the spectacular display of Grucci dazzlers each year, lining up on the streets to watch. Watch anywhere from Westhampton Beach Village on July 3 at 9 pm (July 4 rain date). You won’t want to miss An American Picnic in Southampton on Saturday, July 2 from 7 - 10 p.m. Enjoy this annual East End party featuring carnival games, stilt walkers, magicians, as well as a delicious American picnic. Stick around for magical fireworks displayed over Shinnecock Bay! Or head over to East Hampton for The Clamshell Foundation’s Fireworks.  This thirty-year tradition was brought back in 2009 after a long hiatus and has occurred yearly since. The fireworks can be viewed anywhere near 3 Mile Harbor, or even on the water, on July 16th at 9pm.

Invasion of the Pines

Every year on July 4th, residents of Fire Island’s Cherry Grove and the surrounding mainland put on their best drag and catch a ferry over to Fire Island Pines for a parade that spills out into a community party at the waterfront clubs. Those looking to attend the festivities must arrive at the Fire Island Pines dock no later than 11:00 a.m. as the ferry arrives at the Pines around noon.
