Bagel Biz (443 Walt Whitman Rd., Melville) offers a twist on the classic beauty with turkey AND bacon, plus fried eggs on an egg bagel. Double the eggs, double the meat, triple the love.

 

Bagel Boss, Multiple Locations

Sometimes, the bagel is so good, you don’t even need the bacon. That's the case at Bagel Boss. This egg and cheese bagel sandwich has double the cheese to highlight the crunch of this perfectly made New York bagel. They have six locations on the island.

 

Bagel Chalet, Commack

Nothing short of a Van Gogh masterpiece, Bagel Chalet (36 Veteran's Memorial Hwy., Commack) offers rainbow colored BEC that serves as a feast for both the eyes and mouth.

 

Buzz'd Express Coffee, North Bellmore

Buzz'd is a local drive-thru only coffee shop focused on premium coffee and fast service. Definitely do not miss their BEC on their convenient on-the-go variety of lunch wraps!

 

Goldberg's, Multiple Locations

A beautiful array of toasty bagels available at five locations across the island, Goldberg’s has been serving the locals of Long Island their staple carb-i-licios breakfast since 1949.

 

Freshy Fresh, Shirley

It’s all about the bacon. Freshy Fresh (917 Montauk Hwy., Shirley), named after a local rap artist, has the crispy, salty bacon you’re looking for on the morning after a long night out. 

 

Strathmore, Multiple Locations

Try and BEAT the combination of bacon, egg, avocado and tomato. You can’t. It’s the classic crispy, crunchy, gooey BEC with an avocado and tomato twist. Extra veggies never hurt anyone.

 

Bagel Gallery, Smithtown

This beacon in the night is open 24 hours, to deliver greatness no matter what time it is. Previously located in Hauppauge right off of Veteran’s Highway, they’ve moved down the road right off of Route 111 in Smithtown.

 

Bagel Master, Syosset

The name says it all. From start to finish, Bagel Master (43 Cold Spring Rd., Syosset) has conquered the loving process of bagel-making. Perfect crunch on the outside with a soft middle, ideal for soaking up the runny egg yolks. Not to mention bacon. Never forget the bacon.

 

A & S Bagels, Franklin Square

Looking for a lighter option? “Salad” always makes things sound better, and A&S Bagels (761 Hempstead Tpke., Franklin Square) makes their BEC with egg salad! Located in Franklin Square, they’re also open 24 hours. Perfect for a late night BEC after a concert at the Nassau Coliseum or a long day at the Belmont Stakes.
