Chef’s Tasting at Mirabelle Tavern—Three Village Inn, Stony Brook
Mirabelle Tavern at the Three Village Inn (150 Main St., Stony Brook) is hosting a special eight-course chef’s tasting dinner menu from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. The cost is $105-$160 per person depending on whether you’d like a wine pairing to compliment your meal. Black and White NYE—Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury
For a superiorly upscale celebration, head to the Crest Hollow Country Club (8325 Jericho Tpke., Woodbury) for its Black and White NYE Ball. The festivities include an illustrious cocktail hour featuring imported pasta, artisanal cheeses, farm-to-table selections, and classic appetizers. As well as a surf & turf dinner, dessert, LED-lit open-bar, red carpet photo ops, a night of dancing and a live DJ, a champagne toast at midnight, and a continental breakfast to immediately follow. New Year’s Eve Fishes & Wishes—Long Island Aquarium, Riverhead
Ring in the New Year family-style at the Long Island Aquarium (431 East Main St., Riverhead). From 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., the aquarium will transform from an educational atmosphere to a kid-friendly party with its Fishes & Wishes event. The celebration includes a cocktail hour, crafts, live DJ entertainment, an animal encounter meet and greet, a buffet dinner (that includes beer and wine for adults), a dessert and ice cream bar, and a mock midnight toast. Reservations are required and ticket prices range from $5-$130 depending on the age of the guest and aquarium membership status. The hotel next door, the Hyatt Place, is also offering packages should you wish to turn it into an overnight adventure. Masks are expected to be worn by all guests whenever possible. New Year's Eve Yacht Party--Sapphire Yacht Charters

New Year’s Laughin’ Eve—CM Performing Arts Center, Oakdale
Ring in the New Year with laughter and cheer at CM Performing Arts Center (931 Montauk Hwy., Oakdale) as comedy performances by David Weiss, John Santo, and Bill McCarty aims to put a stitch in your side. The two-hour comedy show starts promptly at 8 p.m., giving you enough time to get somewhere that’ll let you watch the ball drop. Volpe New Year’s Eve Dinner and New Year’s Eve Gala—The Fox Hollow, Woodbury
For a New Year’s Eve party worthy of the Gold Coast, head to The Fox Hollow. Here, the hotel will be sounding off with a live DJ, dancing, cocktail hour, dinner reception, open bar, and champagne toast at midnight. The Allegria Hotel’s on-site restaurant, Atlantica on the Ocean, is offering a special a la carte menu exclusive for New Year's Eve. Long Island’s Premier New Year’s Eve Parties—Chateau Briand, Carle Place
The Chateau Briand (440 Old Country Rd., Carle Place) is offering visitors two different style NYE parties to choose from this year. Enjoy cocktail hour, a sit-down dinner, dessert, open bar, champagne toast at midnight, and a live performance by the band Crossing Midnight from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for $175 per person or cocktail hour, open bar, sit-down dinner, champagne toast, and a live DJ set by Body Rock from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. for $160 per person. New Year’s Eve Gala in the Grand Ballroom and NYE Dinner at Desmond’s—East Wind, Wading River
Head to East Wind (5720 Route 25A, Wading River) for an all-inclusive night of dancing, eating, and partying ‘til the ball drops for $125 per person. The celebration includes an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, a hot & cold buffet, live simulcast of Times Square, live DJ, party hats, noisemakers, horns, and a champagne toast at midnight. Couples can choose to stay the night and score two tickets to the gala and an overnight stay with late checkout for $595 per couple.
