Winter is here, and what better way to keep warm than with a delicious meal! Winter Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off Sunday, January 28th with plentiful options of restaurants to choose from across Long Island. Types of cuisine range from Italian to American, Indian to Mexican, steak to sushi, there are many options to choose from to satisfy all palates. To make the week even better, all of these different menus are available at an affordable price. If you are interested in a two-course lunch, a prix fixe menu will be available for $24, and three-course dinner menus are available for $29, $39 and $46. Mercato Kitchen & Cocktails (Massapequa Park):

Mercato Kitchen & Cocktails is making its Long Island Restaurant Week debut this winter! The American and Italian eatery is cooking up some delicious dishes for their three-course dinner for $39. Starters include soup del giorno, Caesar salad, insalata mercato, buffalo chicken egg rolls, calamari classico, mussels mercato, or ricotta toast. For your entrée, indulge in penne vodka, truffle gorgonzola, linguine di mare, pollo asparagi, chicken francaise, eggplant parmesan, garlic pesto salmon, short rib & polenta, bourbon skirt steak, osso bucco, or the chef special of the day. End the night on a sweet note with some cheesecake, baked cinnamon donuts, or swizzled ice cream sundae.

 

Volpe Ristorante at Fox Hollow (Woodbury):

Visit Italy without leaving Long Island at Volpe Ristorante at Fox Hollow of Woodbury! This restaurant week they are offering a three-course dinner menu for $46 which includes delicious and authentic dishes for everyone to enjoy. Options available for dinner include starters such as Frito misto, The Fox garden salad, French onion soup, baked clams, and artichoke Toscano. As well as entrees such as twin lobster tails, surf & turf, veal scaloppini porcini, chicken and eggplant Sorrento, filet minion, farfalle meraviglia, North Atlantic salmon, burrata ravioli, and other tasty eats. For dessert choose between homemade tiramisu, lava cake, or New York cheesecake.

 

Limani Grille (Commack):

Limani Grille located in Commack will be returning to restaurant week this winter serving both lunch and dinner prix fixes. For lunch, this spot will be serving Mediterranean cuisine such as a Greek salad, octopus grilled sashimi style, avgolemono, or Greek spreads for an appetizer, with the choice of main course including branzino, salmon, the Limani burger, Greek linguine, or steak and fries. All of these delicious options for lunch are available for $24. Dinner for $46 features a similar menu with additions of lobster linguini, filet minion souvlaki, chicken, lamb chops, and dessert choices of karidopita, authentic Greek yogurt, or sorbet.

 

The Ritz Café (Northport):

In the town of Northport facing the harbor, The Ritz Café offers a taste for every palate. The restaurant will be serving a two-course lunch menu for $24 and a three-course dinner menu for $39. Their extensive prix fixe for lunch includes a first course of crab and lobster bisque, soup du jour, baked clams, or meatballs. For the main course you can enjoy options such as house made roast beef, Ritz steak burger, grilled chicken focaccia sandwich, as well as other delicious options. Dinner features additional enticing options such as pork ossobuco, chicken parmigiana, lasagna, linguine in clam sauce, pork schnitzel, chicken pot pie, and more. Don’t miss out on dessert! A choice of homemade desserts will be available.

 

Il Luogo (Lynbrook):

Il Luogo of Lynbrook is serving up some appetizing dishes for Winter Long Island Restaurant Week with a $46 three-course dinner menu. For the first course, you can enjoy calamari arrabiatta, clams oreganata, mozzarella caprese, lentil soup, Caesar salad, mussels marinara, or risotto croquet over Bolognese sauce. The second course features sirloin steak pizziola, pork chop inferno, filet of sole oreganata, salmon senape, cavatelli ragua, orecchiette alla barese, penne alla vodke, ravioli al funghi, chicken or veal franchese, or chicken or veal parmigiana. They have made it a tough choice with all those delicious options! Top it off with dessert where three chef selections will be available.

 

Mirabelle at Three Village Inn (Stony Brook):

More delectable prix fixe menus available during restaurant week can be found at Mirabelle at Three Village Inn. This restaurant is offering a two-course lunch for $24 and a three-course dinner for $46. For lunch, the first course includes panisses, Caesar salad, potato gnocchi and baby shrimp, duck taco, cream of mushroom and chestnuts soup, or pepper crusted tuna loin. The second course features fish and chips, seafood fricassée, an endive, mâche and radicchio salad, B.L.T. grilled chicken sandwich, or a tavern burger. For dinner the same appetizers will be available, as well as a second course of pan roasted organic chicken, pork chop, braised short rib and risotto, seafood fricassée, seared branzino, or vegetable lasagna. For dessert enjoy a Mirabelle ginger almond tart, opera cake, four fruit Mirabelle sorbet, or baklava.

 

On the Docks Waterfront Bar & Grill (Aquebogue):

Enjoy waterfront dining at On the Docks Waterfront Bar & Grill! For restaurant week they are offering an enticing three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $39. Start the night off with a hearty winter potato leek soup, ying yang hummus, short rib empanada, or black & blue oysters. For a second course, make the difficult choice between roasted cod romesco, sambal-maple glazed salmon, hot honey drizzle pork schnitzel, sticky pomegranate chicken, lobster ravioli ala vodka, or surf & turf. End the night with a sweet treat of vanilla bean crème brulee or limoncello tiramisu.

 

Sandbar (Cold Spring Harbor):

Sandbar, located in Cold Spring Harbor, serves cuisine from the land and the sea. For Winter Long Island Restaurant Week they are offering a three-course dinner menu for $39. Their prix fixe includes appetizers such as PEI mussels, meatballs, tuna tartare, chickpea fries, and duck tacos. For an entrée, enjoy a choice of rosemary encrusted Scottish salmon, cacio e pepe, Berkshire pork chop, seared sea scallops, or Mediterranean filet tip skewers. Saving the best for last, the dessert course includes choices of chocolate lava cake, apple crumble, fresh berries, ricotta donuts, or sorbet.

 

Ruta Oaxaca (Patchogue & Woodbury):

Whether you are in Nassau or Suffolk County, you can enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine from Ruta Oaxaca. At their locations in both Patchogue and Woodbury, you can enjoy a two-course lunch menu for $24 or a three-course dinner menu for $39. For lunch, start off with chicken buñuelos, chori queso, or a garden salad. Entrees include shrimp costeño, alambre chilangos, enchilada mole, tacos mixto, or quesadillas with your choice of protein. As for the three-course dinner option, an additional appetizer of empanadas de mariscos is available. For your entrée choice you can enjoy all options from lunch with an additional choice of pechuga & mole verde. Finish the night with a choice of tres leches, churros rellenos, or coffee flan for dessert.

 

H2O Seafood & Sushi (Smithtown):

One last restaurant to highlight is H2O Seafood & Sushi located in Smithtown. This restaurant is offering an exciting three-course dinner menu for $46. The first course includes Long Island baked clams, H2O roll, A.P.P. salad, crispy duck tacos, lobster & winter squash bisque, or shrimp & lobster wontons. Continue the evening with entrees ranging from filet mignon wellington, creamy Tuscan salmon, flounder oreganata, garlic parmesan shrimp, roasted half chicken, or surf & turf.
