The Hamptons

This world-famous region is known as a celebrity paradise with boutique shops, beautiful beaches, and famous faces around every corner. Local history can be found in every town thanks to sailors calling the Hamptons home and historic lighthouse standing tall along their coasts.
- Take the Montauk Branch of the LIRR to head to the Hamptons. This line makes multiple stops throughout the region including Westhampton, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Amagansett.
North Fork Wine Country

The country roads of Long Island’s North Fork are lined with vast stretches of farmstands and wineries. Rated by Wine Enthusiast as one of the "Top 10 Wine Regions" in the world, the iconic region is now home to more than 60 vineyards and dozens of craft breweries and distilleries. Be sure to head to local farms during the cooler months to enjoy apple picking, pumpkin picking, and a variety of farmers markets.
- Head to Ronkonkoma Station and take the Greenport Service Branch of the LIRR. This line will take you throughout Wine Country to stops along the North Fork such as Mattituck, Southold, and Greenport.
Montauk

Long Island’s famed "The End," Montauk is Long Island's surf-driven hamlet located on the tip of the South Fork. Home to the nation's first dude ranch, this haven is the perfect spot for beachgoers, trendsetters, and seafood lovers alike.
- Take the Montauk Branch of the LIRR and travel through the Hamptons by train. Montauk is the last stop on this line.
