Winter Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off on Sunday, January 26th and lasts through Sunday, February 2nd with ample dining options to choose from. Types of cuisine being offered range from Indian to Cuban, French to American, Italian to Mexican, Vietnamese to Greek, Irish to Latin, Continental to Fondue, Steak to Seafood, and many other options. Roadtrip in Bay Shore is a unique dining experience you aren’t going to want to pass up. The restaurant takes guests on a culinary journey across the United States, where a new state is featured each week based on locally sourced ingredients and flavors that represent that state. For Winter LI Restaurant Week, the restaurant is offering a two-course lunch menu for $24, as well as a three-course dinner menu for $46 with menu items from all over the country. Some of the tasty selections you can choose from as appetizers include Herb Cream Cheese Mushrooms, Grilled Pineapple Chili Lime Brussels Sprouts, Pear and Pecan Chicken Salad, and more. Course two offerings include an All-American Burger, Brisket Horseradish Stack, House-Smoked St. Louis BBQ Ribs, Santa Fe Chicken, Fiery Bayou Seafood Tagliatelle, Smoky Parmesan-Crusted Cauliflower, as well as other mouthwatering selections. If you’re dining with them for dinner, choose from delicious desserts such as American Campfire Donuts, California Carrot Cake, or Washington Chocolate Cake.
Varney’s Restaurant of Brookhaven is new to the Long Island Restaurant Week scene. Join them for a two-course lunch prix fixe at $24 or a three-course dinner prix fixe for $46 that will warm you up on a cold winter day. Start your meal off with a choice of French Onion Soup, Chili with the Works, Soup of the Day, Baked Clams, Shrimp Cocktail, Mussels in Red or White Sauce, or Philly Cheesesteak Empanadas. Your main course for lunch offers a selection of Fried Flounder Sandwich and Fries, Chicken Parmesan Hero and Fries, Grilled Salmon over Salad, Philly Cheesesteak Hero and Fries, Burger and Fries, or Lobster Roll and Fries. Main courses for dinner include some of the same options for lunch, as well as Broiled Cod over Rice, Chicken Marsala over Linguini, or Chicken Parmesan over Linguini. If you’re joining them for dinner, end the night on a sweet note with a dessert selection of Carrot Cake, Oreo Mousse Cake, or Cheesecake.
Whether you’re in Nassau or Suffolk County, Lâu Vietnamese Pho is ready to serve you some delicious Vietnamese cuisine at their St. James and Bethpage locations. Both restaurants are new to Long Island Restaurant Week, and you must add them to your list of stops during the eight days of deals. Both locations will be offering a two-course lunch for $24 and a three-course dinner for $39. Some of the appetizers featured on their lunch menu include Green Papaya Salad, Grilled Tiger Shrimp, Caramelized Pork Ribs, Summer Rolls, Crispy Seasoned Fried Tofu, and more. Entrées for lunch offer Bánh Mì, Grilled Pork Chops, Pho Tai, Pho Nam, Pho Bo Vien, Pho Suon Century Basil Chicken, as well as many other options. Additional appetizers on their dinner menu include Sugar Cane Pork, Lychee Shrimp, and Grilled Whole Squid. For your entrée, choose between Cajun Shrimp & Grits, Ultimate Chicken Francese, Chicken Penne A La Vodka, Land & Sea Skirt Steak, Jumbo Shrimp, Crab & Lobster Stuffed Sole, or a New England, Connecticut, or Long Island style Lobster Roll. Lunch appetizers include a House Salad, Pork or Vegetable Gyoza, Fried Wings, or Seaweed Salad. Additional appetizers available on the dinner menu include Shishito Peppers, Kani Surimi Salad, or Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice.
