Located conveniently on Route 110 in Farmingdale, Adventureland boasts over 30 rides and attractions for all ages, from kiddie rides to heart-pounding coasters. Experience FireBall, North America's first and only RollerBall Coaster, or take a spin on Turbulence, Long Island's only spinning coaster. For a refreshing adventure, you’ll find a couple of water rides. Little ones will love the teacups, merry-go-round, and train ride. Plan accordingly, as this attraction is open from late March through late October.
Montauk Point Lighthouse
Montauk Point Lighthouse, commissioned by President George Washington in 1792, is a historic landmark and the first lighthouse built in New York state. It is 110 feet tall and offers stunning 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean, Block Island Sound, and the surrounding area. Visitors can climb the tower for a breathtaking perspective or explore the museum housed within the lighthouse, which chronicles the history of the lighthouse and the area. The lighthouse resides at Montauk Point State Park, which offers hiking, nature walks, and wildlife observation opportunities.
