Celebrate Saint James

Founded in 2017, Celebrate St. James is a nonprofit cultural arts organization created to help revitalize the Lake Avenue District while honoring the hamlet’s rich history and strong sense of community. Rooted in a place once known as a vibrant cultural destination for theater, vaudeville, and New York’s creative elite, Celebrate St. James highlights the past while looking forward through dynamic programs and events that serve residents, families, seniors, local businesses, and visitors alike. From art walks, gallery exhibitions, and children’s programs to historic publications, performances, and film series, the organization is dedicated to preserving St. James’s heritage and fostering a lively, inclusive cultural future.
