The Railroad Museum of Long Island

The Railroad Museum of Long Island was created for the restoration, preservation, and interpretation of the history and artifacts of the Long Island railroads. Greenport was the reason for the start of the LIRR and serves as the perfect place for this museum to be located. Guests can find different interactive exhibits such as climbing inside a 1960’s LIRR caboose, riding the miniature park train, and more.
