March 18: Attend the Taste of Ireland event at The Noel S. Ruiz Theatre at CMPAC to become immersed in Irish culture. Enjoy an evening of Irish entertainment led by stand-up comedian Mick Thomas featuring Irish step dancing and pipe band performances. March 18: In the revitalized booming downtown of Patchogue is the 22nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Starting on Route 112 and East Main Street, the parade will feature pipe bands, floats and baton twirlers. After the parade, stop on Main Street to enjoy local cuisine and drink specialties at the many restaurants.

March 25: Explore natural beauty and ocean vistas on Long Island’s ‘End’ in Montauk. This year the Annual Montauk Friends of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates 56 years of family-fun. Locals and visitors flock to see the colorful floats created by the fire department and local businesses driving down the road and tossing out candy. While you’re in town, enjoy renowned freshly caught seafood at many local shops and then continue the day hoping from bar to bar.

March 29: Born in Ireland and beginning in Dublin, the Celtic Woman brings a musical show to the stage of The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Stony Brook. The show brings Ireland’s talent to the stage of Long Island in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Traditional and contemporary, the show celebrates Ireland’s musical and cultural heritage.
