Spring Long Island Restaurant Week Returns April 22

April 19, 2018

Edible Long Island, a media company telling the story of how the Island eats and drinks, is a great source whether you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, the best lobster roll and everything in between. This week, we highlight specials at Long Island’s Spring Restaurant Week.

Taste some of the best the Long Island has to offer—for just $28.95.

Don’t be discouraged by the weather lately; spring really is here—and more signs of the season are on their way, starting with the return of Spring Long Island Restaurant Week on Sunday, April 22.

From Sunday, April 22 through Sunday, April 29, the beloved dining promotion will return to Long Island’s restaurants, with its legendary $28.95 three-course prix fixe menus in tow. These menus will be offered throughout Restaurant Week, every night each restaurant is open (except Saturday, when it only has to be offered until 7:00 p.m.).

So, what’s on each menu? It varies from restaurant to restaurant, but all must abide by one rule: They must offer at least three choices for each course—that’s three appetizers, three entrées, and three desserts.

“It is expected that the campaign this spring will garner more than 150 participants,” said Steve Haweeli, President of Long Island Restaurant & Marketing Hospitality Group, the business-to-consumer promotions division of WordHampton Public Relations. “With more than 2.8 million residents and 1,000 restaurants with varied cuisines, concepts and price points, it is no wonder why we started the highly anticipated Long Island Restaurant Week.”

In Nassau County, participating restaurants include Thyme in Roslyn, Waterzooi in Garden City, Mim’s Kitchen and Cocktails in Roslyn Heights, George Martin Rockville Centre, and Copperhill in Williston Park.

In Suffolk County, participating restaurants include Jewel By Tom Schaudel in Melville, Mirabelle Restaurant & Tavern in Stony Brook, Monsoon in Babylon, Ruvo in Port Jefferson, The Lakehouse in Bay Shore, and View Restaurant in Oakdale.
