Junction Live Music Sports Grill in Long Beach will serve as the official kick off venue for the LGBT Network’s Pride Weekend. Grab a drink and get ready to paint the town rainbow during Pride week.

June 22nd Morning- Pride 5K, Family Fun Run, Pride Pet Parade

Get your band of buddies together, lace up your shoes and hit the boardwalk in a timed 5k race that spans the length of the boardwalk. Not feeling competitive? Get the family involved in the Pride 5K Family Fun Run which features a shortened course. Don’t leave your four-legged friends behind! Deck them out in their highest-ranked rainbow get-up to meet other pets and owners who support the cause.

June 22nd Evening - Twilight Beach Party, Pride Cabaret, Saturday Night Party

Wherever you are in Long Beach this week, there’s a party for you. Head to the beach on Long Beach Blvd, the Long Beach Public Library for the Cabaret or the Maliblue Oyster Bar for entertainment of all kinds to accompany this awesome week.

June 23rd – Pride Market Fair, 29th Annual LI Pride Parade, Concert on the Beach

Show your pride patronage by shopping at the hundreds of vendors and exhibitors on the Long Beach Boardwalk between Edwards Blvd. and Long Beach Blvd.

Proclaim your support for the LGBT pride community by marching along with our fellow humans. Lafayette Boulevard in Long Beach will bear floats, performers, marching bands and all other attractions that make this pride parade something to behold.

June 25th – Pride in the Vines, LGBT Youth Prom

Pride on Long Island goes far beyond Long Beach, so why not take it from one end of the island to another? Keep the party going with ‘hop on, hop off’ transportation service to the famed vineyards of Long Island’s East End.

Miss out on prom? Your second chance is here. Party on at the Crest Hollow Country Club to experience one of the seemingly most important events of high school. Mix and mingle with a mocktail, dance, eat and see who is crowed in this year’s Rainbow Court.

June 27th – Pride Alive After Five in Patchogue

Long Islanders are itching to express their pride and support, so the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce has set out to fulfill these wishes. The first Alive After Five of the summer will feature 10 bands at 10 different restaurants along main street, 8 different artists, and dozens of craft and food vendors. This neighborhood is making great leaps to show their pride and support for the LGBT community.

All Summer Long

Head to Fire Island for a truly unique experience that provides sanctuary (and a place to party) to all people, both LGBT and otherwise. Cherry Grove and the Fire Island Pines are two hamlets known for their restaurants, nightlife venues, boutiques and beaches. Ferry over to this 32-mile-long barrier to peruse the promenades of this bohemian island.
