Episode Three: The Magic of the Holidays

With the holidays in full swing, Long Island has transformed into a true winter wonderland with magical entertainment options for the whole family.

Celebrate 25 days of holiday fun at the Milleridge Inn Christmas Village kicking off with the holiday tree lighting on Friday, November 29.  Complete with Santa’s workshop, holiday shops and the Elf’s bar & lounge for adults, this magical village has something for the whole family.

Looking for something a bit more interactive? Take a trip on The Polar Express Trolley Ride around the North Fork. Open to kids of all ages, the iconic Polar Express story comes alive with a visit with Santa and the Elves along with plenty of singing and dancing.

But let’s be honest, one of the most renowned attractions on Long Island, even in the wintertime, is our miles of white sand beaches and so our holiday season wouldn’t be complete without the Magic of Lights show at the historic Jones Beach State Park. This iconic event is a drive-through holiday lights experience featuring the season’s favorite holiday seasons and characters using the latest LED technology and digital animations. Make sure to stop at the Toyota Holiday Village afterwards for themed activities, sweet treats and visits with Santa. New inside the Village this year is the Illuminating Mega Trees presented by New York Life featuring over 240 feet of lights and music.
