Discover Long Island is hitting the road with LiLi, our mobile visitor center and literal vehicle of communication, to launch our new online video series taking viewers on a weekly road trip adventure showcasing Long Island as one of the best places in the world to live, work, and play. If you’re a local tune in to re-discover why you BeLONG on Long Island with hidden gem spotlights and insight from some of our most in-the-know locals. If you’re tuning in to plan a visit to our shores, then Long Island TV will help you plan the ultimate insider experience.

In our first episode LiLi shows off one of Long Island’s most coveted attractions – its coastline. Known for its white sand beaches, Long Island boasts over 120-miles of coastline complete with jaw-dropping waterfront views. Explore the charming and walkable downtown of Port Jefferson with a stop at Danford’s Hotel & Marina. This picturesque waterfront hotel and restaurant is the perfect location for a relaxing getaway or scenic dinner. Watch the ferries shuttle back and forth connecting the shores of Connecticut and Long Island across the Long Island Sound.

Just down the street from Port Jefferson is Stony Brook, a historic village with an array of activities including shopping, a lively dining scene, scenic parks and preserves and one of Long Island’s secret spots to take in a spectacular sunset on the water. Stop at Mirabelle Tavern at The Three Village Inn to pick-up a grab-and-go meal and set up across the street at Stony Brook Harbor to take in some epic views.

Head to our YouTube Channel to catch this episode and more with new episodes going live every Friday. Visit for a full episode guide, LiLi’s “Best of Long Island” playlist, and an interactive map of locations featured on Long Island TV.
