With admission starting at just $5 on nearly every race day, Belmont Park provides the perfect destination for a day out of the house. Children 12 and under receive free admission.

Built in 1905, Belmont Park in one of the longest standing tracks in the country. “Big Sandy” as it’s referred to, plays host to many big races, but none greater than the Belmont Stakes. As the third leg of the elusive horse racing Triple Crown, Belmont attracts nearly 90,000 fans every year that come to see which Thoroughbred can capture the title. In 2018, Justify and Mike Smith became just the 13th horse and jockey duo to capture the Triple Crown (Win the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes in the same year).

This year’s Spring Meet at Belmont runs from April 26 through July 7. The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, three days of the best racing and entertainment in the world, runs June 6-8. Other marquee days include Kentucky Derby Day on May 4, Mother’s Day on May 12, Preakness Day on May 18, Memorial Day on May 27, Father’s Day on June 16 and the Stars & Stripes Racing Festival on July 6.
