Suffolk County Farm, Yaphank

The Suffolk County Farm and Education Center in Yaphank is a free farm adventure worth exploring with over 270-acres of interactive (and virtual) farm experiences.  From u-pick pumpkin patches, a corn maze and wagon-ride to a nature explore classroom with arts area, free play zone, interactive backyard farm and a butterfly house plus lots of animals for feeding fun- this free farm experience is a day out you and your family will remember.

Fink's Country Farm, Wading River

Family owned and operated for over 70 years, Fink's Country Farm in Wading River is wholesome down-home fun for the whole family. With hay rides, a corn maze, u-pick pumpkins, kiddy train rides, combine slides and much more, Fink's is the perfect stop to check all of your seasonal boxes.

Dees' Nursery, Oceanside

The Dees' family has grown into one of the largest garden centers on Long Island, serving the community since 1958. Head to their fall festival complete with farm animals, pony rides, pumpkin painting, gem & fossil mining, a spooky walk and farm fresh roasted corn.

Lavender by the Bay

Lavender by the Bay is a family owned and operated lavender farm that was founded in 2002 in East Marion by the Rozenbaum family. Meshing together their interests in agriculture and art, the Rozenbaums turned their hobby into a successful attraction spanning across 17 acres and over 80,000 plants. In 2018, the family decided it was time to expand and opened a second location in Calverton. The seasonal blooms begin right in time for autumn adventures, so if you choose to make a trip to either location, make sure you stop at the farm store for fresh lavender goodies!

F&W Schmitt's Family Farm, Melville

Schmitt's Family Farm serves up the ultimate family fun experience to continue your fall family traditions.  Located in Melville, Schmitt's offers u-pick pumpkins, ride and slides, a walk-through haunted mansion, and explore Gladiators in the 7-acre corn maze, hayrides, farm animals, pony rides and Long Island's largest straw pyramid.

Jericho Cider Mills, Jericho

A regional trademark for 200 years, the Jericho Cider Mill has been serving up sweet cider and homemade baked goods since the early 1800s. Today you can taste authentic recipes and purchase an array of apples, baked goods and of course the original cider recipe.

White Post Farms, Melville

White Post Farms in Melville is a true fall utopia.  Its name dates back to 1971 from the popularity of its local farm stand. Today, you will find a working crop farm which has grown everything from potatoes to flowers, a petting zoo featuring exotic animals and farm classics, a large selection of playgrounds and giant sandbox, a market where you can purchase fresh produce and delicious home-cooked cakes and breads.
