Port Jeff Brewing Company

Change up the norm with downtown brews in the nautical village of Port Jefferson. During the summer months, take part in the Wednesday night concert series. Be sure to bring the whole family to experience the fun as kids and dogs are welcome. With a little bit of everything, the grain is imported from the UK, hops from the Pacific Northwest, and the yeast from points around the globe.

Must try: ‘Port Jeff Porter’ made with chocolate, coffee overtones and a honey finish.

Greenport Harbor Brewery

With two locations to choose from, its original on Carpenter Street in the seaside village of Greenport and a new bottling plant/tasting room in Peconic, taste brews and bites that will leave you wanting more. The new restaurant at the Peconic location is the place to be for dishes by acclaimed chef Vincent Purcell including Duck Spring Rolls, the Naked Lobster Roll, and Fish & Chips battered with the brewery’s very own Tidal Lager.

Must try: The new ‘Fruited Gose,’ pink in color, is brewed with Indian coriander, Mediterranean sea salt and Himalayan pink salt. Fruited with boysenberry, blueberry, and raspberry.

Montauk Brewing Co.

On Long Island’s ‘The End’ in Montauk, get a sip of the vibrant colored brews representing the waves and adventure. Montauk Brewing Company began in 2012 with three longtime friends and a love for small town spirit. A can’t miss this spot summer, stop by the red-brew barn and taste the colorful themed brews.

Must try: Pair together the Summer Ale and Watermelon Session Ale

Blue Point Brewing Company

The booming downtown of Patchogue is where you can find Blue Point Brewing Company’s tasting room. The brewery’s roots began in 1998 and they have continued to create innovative beers highlighting Long Island’s waterside tastes, brewing beers with ingredients like local oyster shells, beach plums, and seaweed.

Must try: The famous ‘Toasted Lager’

Brewology 295

With two locations in Speonk and Port Jefferson, Brewology 295 is a gastropub for the beer enthusiasts and foodies. The playful and experimental environment creates a one of a kind experience with the signature ‘Periodic Table of Beers’ and laboratory themed glassware.
