Located in the heart of Long Island’s wine country on the North Fork, Jason’s Vineyard can easily catch your eye by the pup-loving alpacas and sheep out front. The wide outdoor seating and gazebo is perfect for sipping wine and playing with your furry friend on a sunny day. The tasting room features a hang light sparkling deck with live music on weekends, a tasting bar in the shape of the mythological ship Argo, and a large event space on the second floor with a deck overlooking the vineyard.
This pub-style vineyard is so pet-friendly that they have a vineyard cat, Apollo! Enjoy the relaxed ambience with live music, wood-fired pizza, food trucks, and more!
Giving you more than just flavorful wine, RGNY has the perfect outdoor games for you and your best bud. From corn hole, to Jenga and Uno, there’s fun for the whole family.

Inspired by the beauty of the North Fork & the Long Island Sound, Greenport Harbor Brewing Company creates each beer and can design to reflect the vibrant life and values of the locals on the North Fork. The immense yard at the Peconic location is perfect to enjoy live music with your pup in the summer. You can find all the best seasonal beers at one of their two brewery locations in both Peconic & Greenport.
One of Long Island’s most famous, delicious beers is the Toasted Lager from Blue Point Brewing Company, so if you have not had it yet, you are missing out on a craft beer staple. Blue Point also is well known for capturing the flavor of all four seasons and turning them each into their own ales, so they have your happy hour beer craving covered all year round. Your pup will love the newly renovated outdoor beer garden.
This brewery located on Main Street in Oyster Bay blends the new world & traditional ways of making beer to pay the ultimate homage to the nautical history of Long Island’s Gold Coast when crafting up some of our favorites. They are also the creative mind behind the Islanders hockey team’s official Long Island beer, Barn Rocker Ale!
Described as a farm brewery on the South Shore, South Shore Craft Brewery sources most ingredients from NYS suppliers and growers. The classic taproom conveys a rustic and industrial theme, which matches the location in Oceanside, New York. They welcome all pups inside and on the outdoor patio which has live music and wall murals to to get the perfect IG post.
The classic burger-joint has been reinvented. Local Burger Co. brings fresh, hand-pressed burgers, Long Island craft beer, and house-smoked BBQ to Bay Shore, Patchogue and Southampton. Pets are welcome to join the outdoor patio.
Located in Oyster Bay, Coach Meeting House is a must-experience. The outside area has been transformed into a winter village complete with individual igloos, Adirondack chairs, private fireplace access, live music, speaker, and television. Head to Coach Meeting House with your pet in the courtyard for dinner or bottomless brunch.

Get your best fur buddy and head for a stroll through one of Long Island’s largest state parks, Eisenhower Park! When you get to the park, you will find a whole 1.5 acre section dedicated as the Dog Park, where your puppy can interact with other pups, drink from the water stations and catch some shade under the trees.
Your pup will make so many friends at this 231 acre nature-oriented public park on the Great South Bay in West Bay Shore. This elaborate park has a dog park, fitness trail, hiking, picknicking, bird watching, and nature trails leading to views of the iconic Robert Moses Bridge.
Take a scenic walk past Heckscher Museum of Art into Heckscher Park, frequently known as the “Central Park” of Huntington village. You and your pup can walk along the large pond and enjoy the views of the stone bridges, creeks, blossoming trees, and sculpture gardens.
Located in Smithtown and open year-round, this 627 acre county park has enough activities to leave you and your pet wanting to come back again for more. Hiking, picnicking, camping, freshwater fishing, rowboat rentals, bridle paths, playground, dog run, dog park, and horseback riding are only the top of the list.
For an afternoon puppy-play date, head on up to Bayville’s newest dog park at the Town of Oyster Bay Dog Park at Centre Island Beach. This park was just opened in 2019, and offers a beautiful place for people and pets alike to gather and socialize in the town’s efforts to make our parks more dog-friendly.
