‘Dog Days,’ Live Music, Comedy And More At Long Island Wineries

September 29, 2014

When you visit Long Island you’ll find over three dozen wineries that open their doors to the public for tasting and tours. But what a lot of visitors may not know is that the wineries offer a lot more than just a great wine-tasting experience.

There’s live music, trivia nights, ‘bring your dog’ days, comedy fests, and wine-making courses. And don’t forget to check for the upcoming schedule of live music and other events during Winterfest: Live on the Vine, coming up mid-February through mid-March. www.liwinterfest.com

Following is a sampling of some of the upcoming events at Long Island wineries. Of course you can always find a full schedule of events, or search by the date you’re coming at: www.discoverlongisland.com/visitors/calendar.aspx
