A surf & turf house by nature, Prime offers a superb brunch experience by the water, with live jazz music from 11:30am – 3pm on May 12th. Let the blues rock and roll you right on over and give mom a moment to soak it all in.
Sands Point Preserve, Hempstead
Celebrate your mom for the queen she is with Mother’s Day Tea in Hempstead House at the Sands Point Preserve on May 12th. Afternoon tea from 3 – 4pm includes scones, finger sandwiches and live chamber music. In addition, guests are encouraged to tour the Hempstead House and the Rose Gardens.
Prix Fixe Perfection
This typically pricey, upscale steakhouse is cooking up a $45 prix fixe menu that allows everyone to appreciate Mom without breaking the bank. Get a taste of their shrimp and lobster dumplings, they come highly recommended!
Millerridge Inn, Jericho
Known for its rich history, the Milleridge Inn has been providing lodging and meals to travelers for over three centuries. This Mother’s Day, the Milleridge Inn welcomes families to celebrate their loving mothers through either a sit-down prix fixe meal from 11am – 6pm or a grand buffet from 3 – 6pm. In addition, there will be face painting, a bounce house and other family activities. Lead Mom on a trip through history and dine among the memories of the first Long Island settlers.
Island Inspired Cuisine and Rum Bar, Rhum is noted for their fantastic duck empanadas and tasty rum punch. Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury
From 10am to 5pm on May 12th, take a trip to Old Westbury Gardens which has over 200 acres of amazing views. From Charles II-style mansions to beautifully landscaped gardens, there are stunning sights that will make Mom smile. All women 18+ will receive a complementary lavender plant while supplies lasts.
Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum, Cold Spring Harbor
