Signature Event: 153rd Running of the Belmont Stakes

The Belmont Stakes is always an exciting time for  fans and visitors who want to experience the thrill of horse racing. Belmont Park is one of America’s greatest and most historic racetracks of all time and it’s located right here on Long Island. Filled with history, tradition and victories, Belmont Park is home to the Belmont Stakes, the third and final leg of horse racing’s coveted Triple Crown. Belmont has hosted many of the greatest racehorses in history from Man o’ War to Citation, Secretariat, Justify and American Pharoah.

The Belmont Stakes take place this Saturday, June 5th, 2021 at Belmont Park, located at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont NY.  For more information please visit www.belmontstakes.com

What to drink

The official drink of the Belmont Stakes is The Belmont Jewel. Kick off the start of summer with Woodford Reserved Kentucky Straight Bourbon with lemonade and pomegranate juice. Not a fan of bourbon? Pop open a bottle Rosé to celebrate the race wins!

How to get there

The Long Island Rail Road is offering service to the 2021 Belmont Stakes. This will only occur the day of the event.
