The Freeport Boatmen's Association has been a landmark in Freeport for 75 years. Established in 1935, the FBA is New York’s largest Charter Boat Fleet. The boats and their captains, many of whom are second and third generation fisherman at the FBA, still take out guests everyday of the year to experience Long Island’s south shore fishing at its best.
When not fishing, the boats of the Freeport Boatmen's Association can be found cruising the bays for corporate events and private parties including weddings, birthdays and bachelor parties. Chartering one of our boats is a unique alternative when planning for any occasion.
Our boats range in size from 30ft to 65ft and are able to accommodate 1 to over 100 passengers, depending on the boat. Whether your group is large or small, you'll be hard pressed to find any function that the Freeport Boatmen's Association can't handle.
We are located on the Woodcleft Canal across from the famous Nautical Mile in Freeport; known for its fine seafood restaurants and outdoor café’s.
