Looking for someplace different to exchange your vows or have a wedding reception? Long Island has plenty to choose from, ranging from golf clubs and arboretums to boats and an aquarium.

And, during the 'Gold Coast Era' of the early 20th century New York's elite built mansions and castles of European size and grandeur. Now, many of these spectacular buildings are open to the public and can be booked for weddings and receptions.

Some locations allow for wedding vows only and some have facilities for receptions. Check and call individual locations for varying levels of services and amenities.
