Friends of the Arts (FOTA) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission to enrich cultural life on Long Island is achieved though the presentation of world class performances and through dynamic educational programs for children. FOTA presents the finest performing artists in classical, jazz and popular music, from soloists and orchestras to chamber ensembles. Programs include the popular Long island Summer Festival, Long Island Jazz Festival, Beethoven Festival, Classical Concerts at Coe Hall--all of which take place at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay---and Art Reach, our arts-in-education initiative, which brings professional artists into schools in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
