Culinary Academy of Long Island

The Culinary Academy of Long Island in Syosset is licensed by the NYS Department of Education and has national accreditation through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. We offer 600-900 hour certificate programs in Professional Cooking, Commercial Cooking, Professional Pastry and Baking, and Hotel Management. We have an extensive career services program and offer continuing career assistance beyond graduation including an online job bank. Our four commercial kitchens and two dining areas simulate working restaurant conditions, preparing and serving professional quality meals to students and guests, and Hotel Management students work with the industry-standard Opera-Fidelio property management software simulating the working experience of a full-service hotel. Training is performance based and taught by experienced industry professionals. Teamwork, professional standards and ethical practices are emphasized throughout and all programs culminate in an internship experience at a top Long Island culinary or hospitality establishment. Financial aid and scholarships are available for those who qualify. Tuition: Professional Cooking: $16,500, Commercial Cooking and Professional Baking: $10,990, Hotel Management: $12,115.
