Nestled along the harbor, and offering breathtaking views of Long Island Sound, is the new Port Jefferson Village Center. Celebrating its opening in 2005, and open to residents and non-residents, the Center offers a vibrant space for social, recreational, and educational functions, as well as for exhibits and special Village events. The Center, located in the Harborfront Park, hosts an array of cultural presentations from concerts to art exhibits, as well as a variety of educational, fitness, and senior programs. Five Function rooms, each offering a unique view of the Village and Harbor, are available for rental throughout the year. Rooms can accommodate functions ranging from small informal meetings to large private or corporate occasions. As a bonus, the Center offers a seasonal skating rink as a distinctive backdrop for these events.
