CSTL was incorporated in 2000 to deliver innovative science/technology education programming for educators, communities, and kids. This initiative was bolstered by research conducted by CSTL showing that an overwhelming majority of the public does not have a working knowledge of science concepts related to issues in the news. CSTL’s mission evolved into providing science/technology education programming that fosters the re-engagement of people in science learning and the encouragement of science literacy. CSTL builds effective collaborations with schools, government, and corporations to create projects that make science/technology teaching and learning relevant for all.
