The Hampton's Classic, the country's premier show jumping event, is also the Hampton's most extravagant social event. The shows 50,000 spectators include a select group of 3,000 guests who are seated in one of the largest VIP tents in America. They include the CEO's of top corporations, and many Hollywood and fashion industry celebrities. The Classics celebrity mis results in broad coverage in regional and national publications and extensive TV exposure. In addition to horse show jumping in six show rings, over 7 days of competition, there are about 60 retail stores and food concessions as well as "The World of the Horse" family fun area. Pony Rides are offered daily and are free on Saturday (Kids Day). There is grandstand seating for 4000 spectators each day. Show dates for 2005 are Sunday, August 28th through Sunday September 4th.
