A. Long Island has 3 airports, Islip MacArthur (ISP), LaGuardia (LGA) and John F. Kennedy (JFK). We are also home to the nations largest commuter railroad (LIRR) and two ferry systems from L.I. to Connecticut.
Q. Do I have to pay to use the Long Island CVB?
A. No, the services of the Long Island CVB are absolutely free. We never charge or receive fees or commissions. We are funded through a local hotel tax.
Q. How many hotels do you have on Long Island?
A. We have over 300 lodging properties including 29 full service hotels.
Q. Do you have any unique meeting venues?
A. Yes! We can help you find a creative and unique venue to suit your needs. How about a meeting at an aquarium, a vineyard or right on the beach?
Q. How far is it to Long Island?
A. Well, that depends on where you go. We have meeting venues as close as 25 minutes from NYC or you can escape to the tranquility of our East End in about 2 hours.
Q. Does Long Island have a convention center?
A. Currently, Long Island does not have a convention center. However, we still can host large meetings at the Nassau Coliseum and several meeting venues can accommodate meetings up to 1000 people.
