The lighthouse has always been a vital institution on Long Island as a region dependent on a sea that has not always been kind to passing ships. Their preservation has been the work of concerned groups dedicated to seeing that the legacy and heritage of these beautiful structures get passed on to future generations.
Challenge yourself to visit nine sites in two days. These sites include the Fire Island Lighthouse, Montauk Lighthouse, Orient Point/ Plum Island, Horton Point, Old Field Point, Huntington Harbor, and more. Receive a souvenir at each site.
