Long Island Celebrates Fall's Rich Bounty


The air is a crisp, the leaves are spectacular and the farms and vineyards are full of fresh produce, all ready for the harvest. Many of Long Island’s festivals are centered on celebrating the Island’s rich bounty while others, including an oyster fest, a garlic fair, music celebrations and more, offer their own unique experience. There are dozens of wonderful celebrations to enjoy before the colder winter months settle in.

Long Island Film Festival - "From Montauk to Manhattan to Hollywood"
The Long Island Film Festival, a "road-show" traveling tour of independent film screenings and special events, kicks off its landmark 25th Anniversary celebration at the Montauk Movie Theater on Saturday, September 6th. Additional venues for the historic ten-week festival tour will be held in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
