Eye on the Storm: Long Island's Dangerous Coast

This exhibition examines Long Island's delicate and changing coastal environment and the history and the history of some of the island's major natural disasters, including the 1938 hurricane, which remains the most destructive storm to ever hit Long Island. Hands-on interactives, artifacts and photographs complete the exhibit.
