Ikebana, the art of Japanese Flower Arranging, is one of the traditional Japanese art forms and is believed to date from the sixth century. The Sogetsu School of Ikebana is one of the three major schools of Ikebana in Japan, and Judith Setsuko Hata is a Senior Teacher of Sogetsu Ikebana and a past President of the New York chapter of Ikebana International. Join Judith Hata for a captivating and informative lecture/demonstration of this remarkable art form.
