This Exhibition provides an original focus on the evolving depictions of American Childhood pleasures and pastimes of the early 19th century to 2008. The paintings, drawings, works on paper and sculptures by renowned American artists portray children experiencing pleasures of family and friends, the world of make-believe, holiday celebrations, games and toys, outdoor play music and dance, and childhood mischief.
Exhibition opening reception on Saturday, February 6, 2010, 1-3pm
