The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that Montauk Point State Park will be offering a series of walks on weekends through April to see wintering seals. A State Park naturalist will lead visitor on a 2-3 hour leisurely beach walk to an area where up to four species of seals can be observed. Along the way, there will be opportunities to see many winter birds and to explore marine geology. Please dress appropriately, and wear comfortable footwear for hiking. Binoculars are recommended. Meet at the Montauk Point concession stand.
